Technically innovative and versatile - Ludwig is the multi-faceted classic for everyday use and weekend touring. Equipped with Shimano transmission, Ludwig is perfectly balanced between flexibility and performance.
Sporting flexibility
Ludwig follows in the tracks of Siegfried's sportiness while at the same time setting new priorities in terms of flexibility for everyday use. The Shimano Alfine transmission contributes to this, as does a more comfortable frame geometry thanks to a longer wheelbase, higher head tube and lower bottom bracket. Lights and mudguards can be easily retrofitted if necessary - selected components integrate perfectly to maintain the reduced design language and typical Schindelhauer character.
A special drive
Instead of a conventional chain, the maintenance-free Gates Carbon Drive CDX CenterTrack belt drive ensures a light, silent and fast ride. For extended tours with climbs or fast tailwind passages, the Shimano Alfine 8- or 11-speed transmission is a perfect match.
Seamlessly integrated technologies.
Ludwig is designed from the ground up for the Gates Carbon Drive to make the most of all the advantages of the drive system. Innovative technologies such as the Schindelhauer belt port and the slider-belt-tensioning-system are seamlessly integrated to consistently maintain the purist design.
Sporty-classic cockpit
High-quality leather features and silver-polished components reveal the clear character traits: Ludwig is a classic sportsman. The clean cockpit seamlessly integrates all components and offers agile handling.
